James Calvin Johnson, age 71, of King passed peacefully on February 3, 2025 after battling a lengthy illness.
Jimmy was born on July 9th in West Virginia to the late Ellsworth and Louise Johnson. Surviving is his wife of 35 years, his bebop, Christy Johnson of the home, children, Nicholas Johnson, Jarrett (Cynthia) Cecil, Chrystal (Tony) Spaugh, Frankie (Adam) Yates. Grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Bobby, Brady, Luke, Mason, Levi and Eli.
Jimmy had 10 brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
He loved his family, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, hot coffee, cooking, piddling at home, fixing things and collecting things. Often you could find him in a bright red shirt taking a drive in his ole red truck.
A celebration of life service will be held at King Christian Center for family and friends on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating Pastors are Randall and Linda Smith.
