Michael Wayne Slusher, beloved husband, father, and grandfather died Monday, March 23, 2026 at Novant Health Medical Center. He was surrounded by family and compassionate healthcare workers. Mike was born to Victor Eugene and Helen Adams Slusher of Pulaski, Virginia on March 16, 1951.
He lived at Joy Ranch in Virginia until his senior year in high school, then attended Bob Jones Academy in Greenville, SC. He went on to college at the Bob Jones University until he joined the Army (Green Beret unit) and served in Vietnam. Mike enjoyed several careers ending with owning his own business (Green Earth of the Triad).
Mike is survived by his wife of 14 years, Ragene Wright Slusher, twin daughters Kimberly Mulkey (Shawn) and Hellen Mullins (Raymond), two stepdaughters Pamela Kincaid, Jennifer Simpson, and many wonderful grandchildren.
Mike had an unwavering faith in God. We will honor Mike’s wishes by not having a funeral. Mike was loved by many people and he loved them.
